Pandemic 2 is a world simulator where you play as the virus. You have “evolution” points that can be used to acquire symptoms, resistance, or new transmission vectors. Its similar to Daniel’s drug simulator, except the variables are population, infected, deaths, etc. There is also a new feed along the side that proclaims things like, “GOVERNMENT OF MIDDLE EAST BEGINS BURNING BODIES TO PREVENT INFECTION.” or “GOVERNMENT OF PERU DECLARES MARSHAL LAW.” Congratulations! You just won the Apocalyptic Optimist Badge and 15 points! Badge earned:  A pessimist would say the glass is 1/2 empty. An optimist would say the earth is 2/3 infected with a deadly virus.I am hesitant to say this is a fun simulator, but it sure is interesting.
